Zoo-La-La

Winter is pretty much my favorite time at the zoo. The crowds are light, there aren't a lot of people and not too many people go when it's rainy. Are you getting why I like it? Much to some people's wonderment, we go whenever the opportunity presents itself. The only downside - no elephant ears (at least not the edible, covered in sugar, chock full of gooey goodness kind).

We made this trip March 7th (see, I'm catching up), and visited all of our favorites. Ben's especially fond of the lorikeets. The pretty flowers were taken at Ben's insistence for Aunt Tiffy, who was still buried by above average snowfall. Sorry for tons of photos that don't include the boys, but sometimes I can't help myself.
