Busy Hands

Need to get something done? No problem. Just stack a pile of freshly picked peas in front of Ry and you've got 15 minutes of free time. Just make sure you spend some of it picking more peas.

Oooh! Aaah! Pretty!

Ben was very excited about the 4th of July this year. We did try to point out the reason we celebrate the holiday, but he's still in the "Fireworks Day" phase. He got pretty involved in our local display. It was quite the show! Thankfully, Ry slept thru the bulk of the explosions. This is a good thing as "me no like fireworks. Scary!"

An Overnight Visitor

We were lucky to have MP come stay with us for a day and a night while her mama was away. She was a great house guest. She kept the boys busy! She also taught me a lesson about how long a two year old can stay under water. She's apparently part fishy.

Anyway, the kids all decided that the pool was the place to beat the heat. 100 degrees? No problem - unless of course you're moving. Sorry I wasn't more help ... there were fish to supervise!

Slip Slidin' Away

We when returned from Yellowstone, Ben jumped right into a soccer/baseball camp. Perhaps not the best timing as we were all exhausted and sick. Oh well, Ry enjoyed the slides at the playground.
