Catchup

No, not Ry's favorite food. Making some changes and trying something new. Check this out and let me know what you think. http://benandry.wordpress.com.

Beach Buddies

Fishies

So I didn't get an underwaterproof (Ry again) cover for the camera. This is the best I can do ... these surgeonfish were everywhere.

Surf Explorers

Beach Bums

The boys kept busy shooing away pigeons, treasure hunting (yield: guitar pick and two pieces of sea glass) and shoveling in the sand.

Snorkel Fiend

Ben and I ventured into the water and took in the sights. Ben was much braver in this water. It was very shallow, and the surf was calm. I pulled him around the shore and we snorkeled. It was fantastic! The occasional giggle would echo through his snorkel whenever he saw a fish swim between my feet. He relaxed and let himself be carried by the surf. He stayed in until the goosebumps were too much and he required some Hawaii sun to warm back up. Then he went back in again!

Kapalua Beach

This beach was great. It's at the bottom of the Ritz-Carlton complex, so it's fancy schmancy. And, there was some interesting people watching. A woman got into the water, put on her mask, snorkel and fins, swam out a bit, came back to shore and gave her companion her gum and told him to hold onto it for her. Crazy.

On the plus side, the fishies swam right between your feet and there were tons to see underwater, too.
