I know, I know. She's really pretty. She's shiny and smooth. And, she's HUGE! The biggest fridge we could get from Lowe's. The delivery people were really happy to bring it in, especially after taking the other older, less desirable model downstairs.
Yes, the plastic stays on until she's in her final spot.
We're not quite sure what to name her yet, but I'm sure something will come to us. Or maybe to one of you?

I think you should call her "Gerd." In Norse mythology Gerd means "a frost giantess," which seems about perfect for a beautiful large refrigerator.
Hmmm. I like Gerd. Works with the whole gastroesophageal reflux disease symptoms sometimes caused by my cooking, too, so it's doubly good. I think I shall call her Gerdie.

Yes, I like Gerdie! I was thinking Bertha, as in Big Bertha. I definitely like Gerdie better!
