Cinco De Mayo Festival

After missing almost the whole week of school with a cough that wouldn't quit (and a little national hysteria about the swine flu), Ben met some friends from school at the Cinco de Mayo Festival. He had a great time playing with his friends, performed in Spanish with a clown (who, despite his best efforts, was still creepy) and rode the rides.
He was, as usual, an excellent big brother and paved the way for Ry. Ry, who screamed in fear last year just watching Ben ride the tiger roller coaster, was enthralled, entranced and in love with carnival rides. Guess he's a little bit of Mama's boy, too.

First Berries of Summer

After two days of monitoring their status, it was determined the berries were ripe enough to eat. I'm sure more will be devoured today.
